Unity in Community

Join us for the Cook-Wiss 5K, now in its 11th year! Hosted by the Cook-Wissahickon Home and School Association, our annual event promises fun and fitness for the whole community. Dedicated parents and staff organize this event to help raise funds for the Home and School Association (HSA). The HSA provides such funds to the school for teacher training programs, sporting equipment, library books, technology, classroom supplies, etc. The proceeds from this event also go to support the Cook-Wissahickon school musical.

Race options are a 1 mile walk and a 5K run for students and adults.

But the fun doesn't end at the finish line! After the race, join us for a lively post-event celebration featuring small businesses and local civic groups showcasing their offerings at tables set up for browsing. Meanwhile, kids can enjoy a variety of fun snacks and games, ensuring a delightful experience for the whole family.

Register by March 20th, 2024, to secure your spot and receive a complimentary event t-shirt—a perfect memento of a day spent supporting our school and fostering a brighter future for our students. Join us as we lace up our sneakers, unite, and make a difference one step at a time!

When you register, you will be prompted to become a fundraiser. This is not a requirement for participating in the 5K, but we ask that you consider setting up a personal fundraiser page to collect donations! Share your fundraiser page so that friends and families can donate. Through these donations, the 5K raises funds for the HSA.

This year, our goal is to raise $5,000 through donations collectively!
